About Dave Blaney:

“The Buckeye Bullet” is a living legend in motorsports that comes from a legendary racing family.  His father Lou Blaney was the King of Modified racing in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio as well as an accomplished sprint car driver.  His brother Dale Blaney is a six time champion with the All Star Circuit of Champions and his son Ryan Blaney currently drives for Team Penske in the NASCAR Monster Energy series.  But for those who only know Dave for his long career as a driver in the NASCAR Monster Energy series for teams that include: Bill Davis Racing, Tommy Baldwin Racing, and Richard Childress Racing, the following are some of his many accomplishment as a dirt sprint car driver: 

• World of Outlaws Champion 

• USAC Silver Crown Champion

• Knoxville Nationals Champion

• Two-time Kings Royal Winner at Eldora Speedway

• Historical Big One Winner at Eldora Speedway

• Gold Cup Champion at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA

• 94 World of Outlaw feature victories

• 49 All-Star feature victories 

• Inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame

Dave has not lost his drive to win races and he can be found racing a 410 sprint cars with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws, driving the Dave Blaney Racing number 98H. 

Dave is the proud father of Emma (Blaney) Conley, Ryan Blaney and Erin Blaney, husband to Lisa, and grandfather to Louie Conley.
